Vaginal Rejuvenation and Bladder Incontinence 1

Vaginal Rejuvenation and Bladder Incontinence

As a PRP centre for excellence with clinics in Surrey, London, and Wiltshire, we can help with a range of PRP therapies for female intimate issues.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Ladies, it’s not just the blokes who suffer as they get older, right? Common concerns include vaginal dryness, difficulty being aroused or achieving orgasm, and a loss of sexual desire.

If you’ve ever wished your sex life was healthier, we have some good news – and even better news if aging, menopause, or childbirth have taken their toll down there.

Vaginal rejuvenation is an all-natural, painless, non-surgical procedure designed to give the vagina a lift by rejuvenating and revitalising vaginal and clitoral function.

Thanks to its rejuvenating capabilities, PRP therapy helps to restore sensations patients may have lost. As a result, patients to have received platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for vaginal rejuvenation have reported the following benefits:

  • Stronger and more orgasms
  • Increased sexual desire
  • Increased natural lubrication

We can also perform a vaginal lift to make the lips look fuller and less saggy. That’s because PRP treatment works to tighten up vaginal tissue and rebuild the body’s own natural collagen.

Bladder Incontinence

PRP therapy is a revolutionary approach to treating incontinence and sensitivity. But it’s not just about sexuality.

The vaginal rejuvenation properties of plasma can also help women suffering from a lack of bladder control. Whether it’s after childbirth or due to time ticking on, bladder incontinence affects millions of women. In fact, it’s estimated that almost half of women over the age of 60 experience stress urinary incontinence (SUI), which is where sudden pressure whilst exercising, sneezing, coughing, or laughing causes urine to leak out.

You may have seen a lot of adverts for urinary incontinence pants but after this pioneering treatment, you won’t need them. That’s because PRP therapy helps women to better control their flow and of course their urgency. By stimulating blood flow and increasing the sensitivity of the nerve, women report being able to feel the pelvic floor muscles engage again and have a better ability to control all aspects of their bladder so that they can:

  • Enjoy an active lifestyle once more
  • Regain confidence in social situations
  • Be free from embarrassing situations

How does PRP treatment work?

PRP therapy uses your body’s natural healing power (nutrient-rich plasma) to help your tissue grow and repair. It’s a quick, non-surgical solution for a number of intimate health conditions such as vaginal rejuvenation, bladder incontinence, and more.

As with all our PRP treatments, we start by drawing a small amount of blood. Like with a blood test, this step is very quick and quite painless. You can even look away if you want to!

Next up, to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of your blood, we use a machine called a centrifuge. This only takes a few minutes and is done while you wait.

And finally, we then inject your platelet-rich plasma back into your body through small injections into the target areas, such as the clitoris and vagina.
